Rudrabhishek Puja at Ujjain – Parthiv Shivling – with All pooja Samagri other than Fruits and Sweets

Rudrabhishek with Parthiv Shivling

Performing Rudrabhishek with a Parthiv Shivling (a Shiva Lingam made from mud or clay) is a significant ritual in Hinduism, symbolizing devotion, purity, and the transient nature of life. It is often considered highly auspicious, especially during the month of Shravan and on Mahashivaratri.

Significance of Parthiv Shivling

  • Symbol of Transience: Made from clay, the Parthiv Shivling represents the temporary nature of physical existence and the eternal nature of the soul.
  • Accessible Worship: It allows devotees to easily create a symbol of Lord Shiva for worship, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
  • Spiritual Merit: Worshipping a Parthiv Shivling is believed to grant the same spiritual benefits as worshipping a more permanent Shivling.
