Varshik Shraddha is a sacred Vedic ritual performed after 13 days of a soul departing. This ritual involves offerings of water, sesame seeds, and food along with the chanting of sacred mantras to provide peace and liberation to departed souls.
Service Include :
✔ Sankalp (Vow): The ritual begins with a vow, performed with devotion, to appease the ancestors.
✔ Tarpan: Holy water, sesame seeds, rice, and kusha grass are used to offer water to the ancestors.
✔ Pind Daan: Offerings of pind (rice balls) with milk, curd, and honey are made while chanting sacred mantras.
✔ Brahmin Bhojan: Food is offered to Brahmins, cows, crows, dogs, and ants as part of the ritual.
✔ Donation (Daan): Essential items such as clothes, grains, fruits, and other offerings are donated for the well-being of ancestors.
✔ Daily Offering: Regular water offerings and prayers to ancestor pictures for continued blessings.
