About Hanuman Jayanti Puja
Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth of Lord Hanuman, the epitome of courage, fearlessness, and devotion. According to the Hindu calendar, it falls on the 15th day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra. In 2025, Hanuman Jayanti will be observed on Saturday, April 12. Lord Hanuman was born on the full moon day of Chaitra month, on a Tuesday, to Mata Anjani. Lord Shiva, one of the holy trinity, took birth as Lord Hanuman to aid and support Lord Rama in his righteous war against the demon king Ravana. Thus, Lord Hanuman is revered as the “11th Rudra Avatar.”
Lord Hanuman is considered the supreme embodiment of courage, fearlessness, valor, intelligence, and devotion. Anyone who worships Lord Hanuman with complete faith and dedication receives blessings for overall success, fame, wisdom, courage, peace, and prosperity. Lord Hanuman is also known to eliminate all negative energies, evil eyes, black magic, and obstacles.
