REFUND, RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY 

This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of the website www.jipanditji.com (“Platform”) operated by CBBC Wonders Private Limited, having its registered office at, Office SF 218,  Krishna Appra’s D Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). 

By placing an order on the Platform, you (“User”, “Customer”, “Devotee”) expressly agree to be bound by this Policy, without limitation or qualification. 

 

  1. NATURE OF SERVICES & PRODUCTS

The Platform offers the following categories: 

  1. a)Religious & Spiritual Services– Puja services performed online/offline by independent priests/pandits 
    b) Customized Religious Services – Pujas conducted with customer-specific sankalp, name, gotra, ancestors, intent, etc. 
    c) Physical Offerings – Prasad, bhog, flowers, samagri delivered physically 
    d) Physical Spiritual Products – Idols, ghee, kesar, puja items, etc. 
    e) Digital Services – Live streaming, recorded videos, reports, confirmations 

Each category is governed by different refund rules as detailed below. 

 

  1. ROLE OF THE PLATFORM (LIMITATION OF LIABILITY)

CBBC Wonders Private Limited is a facilitator and technology platform only. 

  • All pujas are performed by independent priests, temples, or service providers. 
  • Priests/pandits are not employees, agents, or representatives of the Company. 
  • The Company does not guarantee specific spiritual outcomes, results, or personal beliefs. 

 

  1. CANCELLATION & REFUND – PUJA SERVICES

3.1 Customized Puja Services (STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE) 

✅ No refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks are permitted once a customised puja is booked. 

Customized pujas include (but are not limited to): 

  • Pujas performed with customer’s name, gotra, sankalp, ancestors 
  • Pitra dosh, shanti, mool paath, akhand jyot, special sankalp pujas 
  • Any service where preparation begins immediately after booking 

This is in line with: 

  • Section 2(1)(d), Consumer Protection Act, 2019 
  • Exception for personalised & customised services 

 

3.2 Standard / Non-Customised Puja Services 

  • Cancellation requests must be raised at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled puja date & muhurta. 
  • No cancellations or refunds are permitted: 
  • Within 48 hours of puja 
  • On the same day of the puja 
  • During or after the muhurta time 
  • If the devotee is unavailable or unresponsive

Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7–12 working days, after deducting applicable payment gateway charges and taxes. 

 

  1. FORCE MAJEURE & UNCONTROLLABLE EVENTS (NO REFUND)

No refunds shall be issued for delays, rescheduling, or non-performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: 

  • Natural calamities 
  • Temple restrictions or closures 
  • Government orders, curfews, or regulations 
  • Pandit unavailability due to health or emergency 
  • Internet, network, or technical disruptions 

In such cases, the Company may, at its sole discretion, reschedule the service, but no monetary refund shall be provided. 

 

  1. DIGITAL SERVICES (NON-REFUNDABLE)

All digital services including: 

  • Live streaming links 
  • Recorded videos 
  • Digital reports or confirmations 

are non-refundable once access is shared or service is delivered. 

 

  1. PHYSICAL PRODUCTS & OFFERINGS

6.1 No Returns – Replacement Only 

Physical products and offerings are non-returnable due to their religious, consumable, and sacred nature. 

✅ Replacement may be provided ONLY if: 

  • Product is damaged in transit 
  • Wrong product delivered 
  • Manufacturing defect (where applicable) 

 

6.2 Replacement Conditions 

  • Issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery 
  • Unboxing video and clear images are mandatory 
  • No claims accepted without proof 
  • Replacement decision is at Company’s sole discretion 

 

  1. DELIVERYTIMEFRAMES

7.1 Physical Products & Offerings 

  • Dispatch timeline: 2–5 working days from order confirmation 
  • Delivery timeline: 5–10 working days, depending on location 
  • Delays due to courier partners, weather, or force majeure are not grounds for refund 

7.2 Puja Services 

  • Scheduled strictly as per muhurta and availability 
  • Any changes will be communicated via email/WhatsApp 

 

  1. SHIPPING & RISK DISCLAIMER
  • Risk of loss passes to the customer once the product is handed over to the courier partner 
  • Shipments are not insured unless expressly stated 
  • Courier delays or losses are not the Company’s liability 

 

  1. REFUND PROCESS (IF APPLICABLE)

Where refunds are approved: 

  • Payment gateway charges 
  • Taxes 
  • Administrative fees 

shall be deducted before processing. 

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only. 

 

  1. MISUSE & FRAUD PREVENTION

The Company reserves the right to: 

  • Reject refund requests involving misuse, false claims, or repeated cancellations 
  • Block users for abusive, fraudulent, or chargeback-heavy behavior 
  • Share necessary details with payment gateways or authorities if required 

 

  1. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION & ARBITRATION

This Policy shall be governed by laws of India. 

  • Exclusive jurisdiction: Courts of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 
  • Arbitration: Any dispute shall be resolved through sole arbitrator, appointed by the Company, under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 
  • Language: English 
  • Seat of arbitration: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
